Another week has gone by and this week we will be doing crafts and activities for Father’s Day to give to somebody special, this will be doing throughout the nursery.
Our babies will also be gaining sensory experience using coloured rice in their play. They will be listening to stories using props to encourage their concentration span. They will be washing the toy cars to keep cool during water play and digging in the soil to find hidden vegetables.
Jungle Room will be continuing with their under the sea teaching project and reading smiley shark, and making big fish and little fish to embed the learning from last week on sizes. They will also be exploring sand with foam for a very messy sensory experience and turn taking games with the magnetic fish game which they love.
Castle room will be making lots of noise using the instruments and learning to tap to the beat . They will also continue with their letter recognition and will be copying their name in their cards for their special person. They will be learning the number 6 and talking about actions that affect other people and embedding the rules in their room; kind hands etc.
