This week our toddler in the jungle room will be helping children to interact with each other through having fun with water play, we will be building train trucks and we will be pretending to do actions to songs children love. We will be developing toddler’s independence through playing games where they will have to go and find certain objects and bring them to the middle of the room. Being a new term and a beginning of a new academic year, we will be talking about children’s home life, their parents, siblings and pets. Hopefully children will also have lots of fun expressing interests through dressing up and messy artworks.
Babies will be having fun this week making music and playing our musical instruments. Babies will be also doing lots painting and mark making. Older babies will be playing in the sand (in a very controlled environment). Also we will be training those little legs helping babies to walk up and down steps.
There is a lot happening in the school room this Autumn term. We will begin with children’s social and emotional development, helping them make friends and learn how to be nice to each other. There are many new toys in the pre-school room so we will be learning how to play nicely and safely. We also have a new self registration system so please don’t forget to sign in when you arrive.
