Half term at Gillingham Nursery

It half term and we are already missing all the children and their parents. So keep us in the loop and let us know what you have been doing.

In the unit we have been all together as it “gets a little lonely all these empty room” oh my gosh have I just found myself quoting Frozen!!!! So we have been playing and learning together. Babies have a focus on early language where as the unit have been looking at extending that language.

We have been having a splashing time in the garden with all the mud, and mud means muddy puddles. Whoop Whoop. Better than muddy puddles is ………. Worms. We have been finding hundred of worms any one remember the song??? When I was at school I loved this song but never could remember the words, so hear it is and i bet your singing it as your reading. LOL

nobody likes me,
everybody hates me,
i guess i m gonna eat some worms…
short fat slimey ones,
long thin curly ones,
see how they wiggle and squirm

So bite off their heads
and bite off their tails
and throw their skins away
how on earth can anybody live on
a thousand worms a day?

Cant wait for you all to be back.
