Happy Halloween

This week in preschool we will be continuing to look at Diwali, looking at how people celebrate. We will also be having a go at henna drawings on our hand templates, making our new fireworks display and making paper lanterns to hang in preschool. Finally we are carving our pumpkins on Friday. This week in jungle room we have lots of creative things going on as you all know it is Halloween on Friday so we are building up to that on Friday we have our pumpkins, we have some glow in the dark gloop to get out we have torches and we have some Halloween books to read as well. During the week we have been doing paper pumpkins and masks Stephanie showed us how to make some really cool ghost out of tissue paper and string, it was really good the children really loved that. We have some really great other things going on like jelly play with creepy crawlies and we will be making our own skeletons to. This week in baby room we will be encouraging the babies to look through books, naming everyday objects. We will be encouraging the babies to pick animals and make animal noises.
