Our toddlers had an exciting day today, not only they played with water and were discovering what floats and what sinks, but they were also building a train track.
A simple activity turned into a large project where children were encouraged to plan the track route themselves, they had to chose trains that would fit the track and they also build houses alongside the train truck.
It was a great activity as we sang lots of songs themed with travel and we all played a train game at the end of it pretending to be a very big train and going round the room and the nursery. Cho – Choooo!
