Little Scientists at Gillingham Nursery

Day could not have gone any better with all the messy play, water play and scientific experiments. Children turned into little scientist at Gillingham Nursery today.

It all started when Alex prepared a tray full of water for the children to play with. We then mixed some vinegar and soda bicarbonate with the mix creating lots of bubbles. Children were very excited playing with all the bubbles that were popping in the mix. Jenni then had the idea of mixing paper are cardboard with the water and the vinegar dissolving it all into a very slushy mix. Children created a mashy slushy pre-historic Jurassic swamp. It did not take long for them to bring in the dinosaurs either. So at the end the scientific experiment turned into a dinosaur hunt.
