Teddy Bears Picnic Time

We have explored malleable materials including wet sand and playdough. Using this as a base to extend vocabulary and social skills. Next week is Winnie the Pooh week. We will be having a teddy bears picnic, the possibility of a woodland walk among other things.

This week Jungle Room have been looking at musical nursery rhymes. The children took an interest in numbers and colours alongside this. They recognised some colours and numbers and next week we will expand on this by recognising how many items are in small groups. This week in babies we have been decorating our winter display board decorating hat, snowman and decorating snowflakes. Next week we will be following on with white gloop play for snow also ice play with animals.
