To the moon and back

Last week in the jungle room the children were showing an interest in the stars, moon and rockets. When a child come in and told us about the giant rocket ship he had been building at home. So we took this as a learning opportunity. This week Kerri is teaching the children all about space and reading the book ‘Aliens in underpants'. Our children's favourite book at the moment. We have turned our imaginative corner into our own space area by making a spaceship, looking at planets and looking at glow in the dark stars.
