Wow moments, interesting fact, things your children can do and any other lovely nuggets of information. We are celebrating the children’s achievements and putting all this on the wall in preschool. If you have pictures of your child dressed up or doing something that they love bring them in.
So why are we doing it?
As stated in the EY Outcomes document on page 3, ‘best fit' principles should be applied to
make the judgement about whether a child is showing typical development for their age…
We want to give children the best chance at showing off what they can do, as we cannot make judgements and best fit without having a prior knowledge of the children. So help us to get to know your child through your eyes, the parent, the most important person in the whole wide world and the child’s first educator.
