This month we are learning about the different aspects of autumn including the changes in the environment, hibernating animals and harvest.
The children participated on an autumn walk to use all their senses exploring autumn and to collect autumn nature materials. The children’s families were asked to encourage their children to observe, listen and collect autumn items to add to the preschool collection whilst out and about. Here is our Autumn display.
This week we are encouraging hands on learning by placing real vegetables in the home corner to ignite the children’s imaginative mind and inspire them to incorporate what they are learning into their play .
