Messy child, happy child. Our toddlers had lots of fun today playing with paint. They had a chance to squeeze bottles of paint, mix the paint and do lots of mark making and painting. They were mixing colours and finding out how much fun it would be to paint paper cards as well as themselves. Those children that did not want to stop painting, were encouraged to do more mark making with their fingers. I am sure some of the artwork will be sent home if not displayed on our displayed boards.
Later on during the day, our toddlers enjoyed lots of singing and dancing and musical movements to our most popular CDs. Those never fail to impress our two year olds. The adventurers ones even picked up a musical instrument or two. Not surprisingly, most of the children that stayed with us all day had a well deserved rest afterwards.
