We saw sun today and the mood lifted instently. So many children were playing and smiling today it was so nice to see. Our pre-schoolers were working hard today painting pictures for our new ART Tree display. Kids loved the coldness and squishiness of the paint. Children were creating patterns with the paint and their hands. The theme continued into turn taking games and our finding patterns flash cards.
Kids really enjoyed a wide range of puzzles, listened to stories and tried to recall what comes next in familiar stories. Some children even found some time to build big and small houses using mega blogs. And if that is not enough, children also played with connecting sticks trying to build as many shapes they could rembember.
