This week, throughout the nursery we have been talking about the people we love.
We have been making cards and hearts using different materials to practice our sticking. The babies have enjoyed making marks on the tuff trays using the chalks and playing in the home corner alongside one another.
Next week, we will be making ocean biscuits using rice cakes, exploring colour and introducing new words to extend vocabulary.
In our jungle room, we have been taking about people we love and saying who lives in our house. The children have also been using musical instruments while singing their favourite songs.
Next week our toddlers will be taking part in various action songs, following instructions. We will also be using paint with a variety of – rollers,cotton buds to see what patterns they make.
In Preschool this week they have been exploring pink glittery playdough, icing biscuits and having strawberries and chocolate for a treat. They have been talking about the people who are special to them.
Next week the children will focus on technology toys with number play. We will be focusing on making new relationships with our peers.
Lastly, our poems will be sent away to enter the competition for young writers.
